Story

++You are a private runner in the city of Megapolis. It is just another day on a simple mission run for a private client when you stumble across a classified information that shape shifting alien infiltrators are preparing to invade the planet. To make matters worst the client that you are working for is dead. Now a silent bounty has been placed on your head and enemies are at your every turn!
Can you finish your investigation to find who is pulling the strings and stop the traitors from executing  their plans that would endanger the planet?++

This game is a re-imagine of an original game called LORD OF THE RINGS the adventure deck game by Michele Esmanech.

I started to make this game as cyberpunk themed game using some of the mechanics of the LOTR ADG, but wanted to change up some of the mechanics to fit a cyberpunk shadow run themed. 

So instead of healing by night in the original game, I figured the player will need to used Meds during a free action. Players will start off with a limited set of Meds but can and must gain some extra Meds by doing missions called runs to get more Meds to stay alive till the end of their investigation. Some Armor piercing rounds can also be obtained by doing missions and some items will be gain by traveling through the deck.

SteelLard, thanks so much for your interest on this game.

I intend to do a video playthrough  which will no doubt help people to play the game, but I keep getting side track with other projects.  

Here are the answers to your queries regarding clarification. Thanks so much for the grammar check and I will get straight on to them! check out updated cards "CYK Cards V1.3"

Aaron: you may go back to this card (which is why you flip it sideways as a bookmark or sorts) at a cost of 1 travel time. Basically take this card and put it on top of your travel pile and proceed from any direction from here on wards.

Suspect: you are going backwards, so take the suspect card and 2 more cards from the discard pile and put them back in the travel deck. Imagine going backwards. By doing so, ignore any attack value on all the cards. Once you land on the card after the 3rd card have been placed back on the travel deck, the fluff of the card you land takes into effect.

Another excellent, visually interesting and narratively fun game!

A few points/questions from the cards:

Aaron: This is a very long sentence. Also what does this mean: "and may back track 1 by 1 travel"

Informer: I think you need a full stop here "

Suspect: I don't think I understand how this card works sorry. Could you please clarify?


Mercs: Shouldn't this read "Allies rally to you..."?

Mastermind: Should this read "The enemy has found you" or "The enemy has been found"?

Dead Ally: Should it be "can not use an action"?

Surplus Store: Do you gain 1 AP round, in which case it should be "gain an armour piercing round" or more than one "gain (insert number or 'some') armour piercing rounds"?

Research Lap: "Lets" should  be "let's".
