This is a collaborative effort with the artist Aoi Waffle to bring you a game based on a world he has built called Rusty Front. Rusty Front resides in an alternative world where the populace rely on diesel punk style technology. One only need to look at the artwork by Aoi Waffle to get a sense of the world, currently plunge in a war between the Federation and Empire both with flying airships based on science, naturally magical resources and organic animal tech.

It is mostly in Japanese, but one can use either google translate or deep translate to get the gist of the story and lore about this unique world with flying airships and arcane technology.

Aoi Waffle would like to mentioned that there is a TTRPG of sorts for Rusty Front, but it is entirely in Japanese within the wiki page. This game Airship Pursuit will be the first time Rusty Front is being made in English.

STORY

Your ship the Leuria Pride 2, a heavy cruiser class ship has been deployed in the Battle of Border Zone 005 when you received an urgent & coded transmission from HQ.  An experimental  enemy ship called the Aquarius Heavy cruiser has been sighted in Federation space conducting espionage mission. Knowing that it has been sighted in open space, it is currently trying the escape and rejoin the main Empire fleet at the border. You must intercept and destroy this ship before it reaches the safety of the main fleet and  relay any tactical information it has gathered from Federation space.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME

The objective of the game is to destroy the enemy ship before it reaches and joins the enemy fleet. The game is played by going through Movement deck (representing the course plotted for the attack), managing your ship’s various systems and blasting the enemy with your ship’s weapons.
